Our Story
To My Urvee,
It’s strange how life brings people together — quietly, almost as if it already knows what it’s doing. When I look back now, I still remember those NEET classes from 2021 to 2023. Two years spent sitting in the same room, breathing the same air, yet never once really talking. You were there, I was there — just two people living separate stories, unaware that one day, ours would become one.
Then came 2023. I joined DY Patil , and life felt like it was starting fresh. I didn’t know that it was about to bring a familiar name back to me — your name. When I saw it on the student list, something in me paused. And then at orientation, when you looked at me with that spark of recognition — that “I know this face” smile — it felt like the universe had just nudged me and said, “Pay attention this time.”
We started talking, slowly at first, and before I knew it, you had already become someone special. Our small group, our random conversations, those tiny moments — I didn’t realize it back then, but every single one of them was quietly pulling me toward you.
Time passed, and life, as it always does, drifted us apart for a bit. We still crossed paths, still shared rides, still exchanged those small smiles — but we didn’t talk the way we used to. I didn’t know that one late night, the 30th of August, would change everything.
From 2:30 to 6 a.m., we just talked — about everything, about nothing — and somehow, somewhere in between, I felt it. That feeling you can’t explain, only recognize. We never said it out loud, but we both knew. Something real had started that night.
And from there, everything just… unfolded. The drives, the late-night talks, the moments that felt like our own world. Somewhere between friendship and forever, we found us.
Then came 11th January 2025 — the day it all began. The day we stopped circling around what we felt and finally said it out loud. From that day onwards, every moment with you has felt like home. I’ve watched myself fall in love with you over and over — in your smile, your laugh, the way you care, the way you see the world.
You’ve become my calm, my chaos, my favorite part of every day.
And as I write this for your birthday, all I can think is how lucky I am that life gave me you not once, but twice — because maybe the first time, it just wanted me to know what I’d be waiting for.
Happy Birthday, my love.
To many more 2:30 a.m. calls, long drives, shared smiles, and quiet moments where words aren’t even needed — because we already understand.
With all my love,
Ashmit
